Tonight, the Bethlehem, Casimir and De La Salle Pilgrims had our "bus group" meeting at Bethlehem. We are just one bus load of young Catholic students headed towards Poland, there are over 600 students attending from Sydney alone.
We received an overview of the actual itinerary. We now know where our accomodation is, which places of worship we will have Mass at and which cities we will definitely visit, there is a lot of information to know. Packing and bags and limits and wi-fi and phone credit and a whole heap of other considerations that I can hardly absorb, thankfully we took notes.
Everything seems so surreal but there are a few places that I am thrilled to be visiting. I can hardly imagine that I am going to stand at the birth place of St John Paul II and celebrate Mass with Pope Francis, how blessed am I?
The leadership team from all three schools are really friendly and enthusiastic. They have worked really hard to make this pilgrimage possible. I am really grateful for all their time and energy, tonight was a glimpse into just how much organisation something of this magnitude takes.
Thanks especially to Mrs Casey and of course Mrs Bounds for being so supportive and allowing me to attend with the College.
That's all for now.
God Bless,
Kristina.
